Big-company AI. Built for the small guys.

We exist for one reason: to put real AI to work inside Singapore's SMEs — the businesses that keep this island running.

OUR STORY

Walk down any street in Singapore at 9pm and you'll see it: the workshop owner still replying to WhatsApp messages between dinner and bedtime. The broker rebuilding the same quote for the fourth time today. The restaurant owner who did everything right — great food, great service — watching a competitor with worse reviews and better follow-up win the neighbourhood.

Big companies solved this years ago. They have AI teams, data teams, automation budgets. The tools exist — they were just never built to fit a six-person business.

That's the gap we live in. We take the same technology the big players use and build it around how one specific business actually works — your prices, your calendar, your customers, your way of doing things. Not a subscription that almost fits. A system that actually does the work.

Our first builds proved it: a tyre workshop where 80% of enquiries now answer themselves. A broker whose quotes come back in seconds instead of days. A dealership where no enquiry slips through and a human still signs off on every deal. Different businesses, one pattern — hours back, sales up, owners home for dinner.

Our mission is simple: put our expertise to work so any SME can deploy AI — not someday, now.

Yong Jian Ng

Yong Jian Ng spent seven years in client-facing roles across banking, wealth management and financial technology before co-founding Hi-Lite Digital — most recently managing enterprise software subscriptions for regional banks and brokers.

That work taught him what Hi-Lite is built on: selling a system is the easy part. The real work is entrenching it deeply enough in a team's daily routine that it becomes indispensable. He holds every automation to that standard — a system nobody uses is a system that failed.

Hi-Lite Digital was founded to help Singapore's business owners digitalise the work that quietly caps their growth. Automate what shouldn't need a person, and the business can scale without the owner absorbing every extra hour. He builds for the long run — the aim is to still be the right partner when the business is three times the size.

Co-founder

Bryan Chua

Before Hi-Lite, I was — and still am — running Hydroflux and Livingcare, Singapore's leading water dispenser brands. 40-person sales team. 200,000 clients. SGD $15M annual revenue.

I saw the same pattern everywhere: strong sales, weak aftersales. Growing revenue, ballooning overhead. Every new hire a gamble. I was living the exact pain I now solve.

I built Hi-Lite because I believe in one thing — let humans do what humans do best: build relationships. Let the machines handle everything else.
